Fall and a Day at N.E.W. Zoo

It was our first time visiting the Zoo in our area. Very different than the St. Louis Zoo as you can imagine, but still a great outing. The boys enjoyed feeding the giraffes and watching the lions.

Apple Orchard-October

Corban and Caleb went to the apple orchard with Grandpa and Grandma when Dan and I were at the Desiring God conference in Minneapolis. The boys had fun picking apples, watching the goats, sitting on tractors, and sampling the apple pie. Thanks for giving them the fun!

Little Suamico

I went to a little cute town, Little Suamico, about 25 minutes from home with a friend from church. We found some cute photo spots.

Rest of August '08

Dan and I went to our first Packer game together (it was a warm pre-season game!) Thanks to Daniel Kaiser giving us tickets and him wanted to give us a fun date night! Also, while Dan was in St. Louis with the youth of New Hope, I was at the Gehrmann Reunion at the family lakehouse. Dan also started his huge project of putting in our new wood-burning fireplace. He built it all himself. Since it is now December as I write this, I am so thankful for all his work because our house is nice and toasty!

Wiggles Concert 8/8/08

Corban LOVED the Wiggles Concert. Most of it was enjoyed sitting on Daddy's lap (which Daddy loved!). Corban was mostly in awe, but at the end got up and boogied down to his favorite "Hot Potatoes."

With Grandma & Grandpa Cope

We had a wonderful time visiting with Grandma and Grandpa Cope. We are glad they got to meet their great grand children for the first time.

Visit With Grandma Paulin (Ohio Trip)

On the same long day, we also got to spend the afternoon with Grandma Paulin. We were amazed at how joyful and responsive she is. She LOVED playing with the kids. Our only regret is that we could not spend more time with her. What a lovely Grandma.

Visit with the Paulins (Ohio Trip)

One full day we got to visit Uncle Jim, aunt Fran and baby Lucy for breakfast. Then the Ross family for lunch (not enough space to name them all :) and Uncle Dennis and Aunt Ilona

Wonderful Day at Sand Bay

Thanks to the Kaisers, we found this wonderful beach on Sand Bay, up in door county. The reason it is so great is because the water stays at about two feet deep for the first hundred yards or so. Perfect for three foot high kids :)

Go Pack Go

Despite the crazy Favre indecisiveness...we are very excited for the Packer season and our 4 tickets. For being in Brown County and paying taxes to the Packers, we can register to "win" 4 tickets to a random football game. Both Dan and I registered and I won 4 tickets to the Packers vs. Bears game-- (and yes we still had to pay for each ticket). However, how fun! Go Packers and Aaron Rogers! :)

Another Artist Moment

Corban LOVES yogurt or "gurt" as he calls it. He loves to eat it by pouring the yogurt into his hand from the spoon first, which I have tried to discourage. Anyways, I guess he was done eating and decided to get creative. Hey, it is pretty fun to paint with!

A Trip to Wildlife Sanctuary

On Daddy's Day Off (yes intentionally in caps because it is a special day) we went to the Green Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. This FREE attraction is awesome for families. We love going there for a nice morning or afternoon stroll and visit Wisconsin animals. In this trip, we bought corn to feed the ducks.

Coloring Corban

Corban loves to color EVERYTHING as you see here. I always have to stress: "We only color on paper!" I must have been tending to his younger brother or laundry during this little artist moment.

Fish Creek with the Brooks

Thanks Brook Family for our mini vacation with you at the Door County cottage!!! How fun and relaxing! We went strolling in Fish Creek for the morning, hung out at the cottage, played washers, went boating/swimming/tubing, and out for ice cream at night! Also, thanks Nancy for the yummy July Thanksgiving dinner! YUM! -Look at the 3 ladies in lime green--how crazy!
